Borrowing and plagiarism

The editorial board of the Eurasian Physical Technical Journal believes that plagiarism is the misappropriation of intellectual property and substantial textual copying of someone else's work without attribution. Plagiarism in all its forms constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable.

Plagiarism is the use of someone else's text, ideas and information as one's own without indicating the true authorship (without citing sources) or the use of borrowed materials with links in a form and extent that calls into question the independence of the work being performed. Falsifying references is also considered a form of plagiarism. Plagiarism is a violation of the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and entails legal liability.

Manuscripts are checked to detect borrowings using software Антиплагиат.ru и Strikeplagiarism.com. When plagiarism is detected, COPE guidelines are followed.
