This article presents a photometric analysis of the cataclysmic variable star DO Leo. The main focus is on TESS observational data, in particular sector 72. The main focus of this work is the analysis of TESS data. This work investigates the TESS light curve of DO Leo obtained in Sector 72, which has not been previously analyzed in detail. This data set allows us to examine cycle-to-cycle variability and characteristic photometric modulation. The analysis reveals pronounced short-period variability with a period of approximately 5.6 hours, consistent with the previously reported orbital period of DO Leo. At the same time, cycle-to-cycle amplitude variations were identified, indicating that the shape of the light curve and the depth of the modulation vary. To further estimate the period, the Lomb–Scargle method was applied, confirming the derived period. Bootstrap resampling was used to estimate the period uncertainty. Ultimately, the obtained results confirm the nature of DO Leo and highlight the importance of this object for studying instability processes in cataclysmic variable stars.
